Ingredients

- 4 cups Crispix cereal
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and baking soda.
- In a large bowl, combine the Crispix cereal and chopped pecans. Pour the warm syrup mixture over, gently mixing to coat.
- Spread onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway through until golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces and storing in an airtight container.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. For best flavor and texture, bring to room temperature before serving if refrigerated.
