- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrots to the skillet, stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch with a little water until smooth. Pour over chicken and vegetables.
- Add cooked lo mein noodles, toss until well combined and heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate chicken in soy sauce and sesame oil before cooking. Substitute vegetables as preferred.
