- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5 minutes until bubbly.
- Stir in the all-purpose flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until it forms a dough and knead for about 5 minutes on a floured surface.
- Roll out the dough to fit a greased sheet pan.
- Spread pizza sauce on the dough, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and add preferred toppings.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling. Slice and serve hot!
Notes
For extra crispy crust, preheat the sheet pan before adding dough.
