- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 package (12 oz) stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place in a single layer in the slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, combine the stuffing mix, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, diced onion, and diced celery. Stir until evenly moistened.
- Pour the stuffing mixture over the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the stuffing is tender.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes, then shred or slice the chicken and fold into the stuffing. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve hot.
Notes
Use even-sized chicken breasts for uniform cooking. Avoid lifting the lid during cooking, as it adds to cook time.
