Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cheese slices (optional)
  • Burger toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter. Slowly add to dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
