Description

Juicy and flavorful smash burgers with a delightful crunch from fresh toppings. Perfect for casual dinners and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • Cheese slices (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and roll into balls.
  3. Place beef balls on the hot griddle and smash them flat, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until a crust forms, then flip and cook for 1-2 more minutes. Add cheese during the last minute if desired.
  4. Mix mayo, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper to make the easy sauce. Toast the buns until golden brown.
  5. Assemble the burgers with sauce, patty, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use high-quality ground beef for the best flavor. Adjust toppings and sauces to your liking.
