S’mores Swiss Roll

Description

A delightful dessert featuring a chocolate sponge filled with marshmallow fluff, graham crumbs, and chocolate ganache, reminiscent of campfire flavors.


Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup chocolate ganache (or melted chocolate)
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a jelly roll pan and line it with parchment paper sprinkled with sugar.
  2. In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar until thick and pale. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder together. Fold into the egg mixture gently in two batches.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 15 minutes until springy.
  5. Cool the cake for 5 minutes, then invert onto a sugared towel. Roll up the cake tightly in the towel and let it cool completely.
  6. Unroll the cooled cake and spread marshmallow fluff, then sprinkle graham cracker crumbs and drizzle chocolate ganache. Scatter mini marshmallows on top.
  7. Roll the cake back up without the towel, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Trim ends before slicing and serve chilled. Enjoy!
