Delightful cookies that combine the classic s’mores flavors with a chewy texture from sourdough starter.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, browned
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the sourdough starter, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and crushed graham crackers.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
