Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  2. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in the caramel sauce, egg, and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cayenne, and salt. Gradually blend into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
  4. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
