Description

A vibrant and satisfying Spinach Lasagna with layers of spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, and marinara sauce, perfect for family meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups spinach, chopped
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Italian seasoning, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, egg, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
  3. In a baking dish, spread some marinara sauce at the bottom. Layer the cooked noodles with the ricotta mixture, sprinkle mozzarella cheese, and add more marinara sauce. Repeat these layers, finishing with noodles and topping with the remaining marinara and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, cover with foil, and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Let the lasagna sit for about 10 minutes after baking for easier serving. Choose fresh spinach for the best flavor, and adjust baking time as necessary.
