Description

A rich and creamy pasta dish featuring savory Italian sausage, fresh spinach, and decadent Alfredo sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 3 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and sauté until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant. Stir in the fresh spinach and allow it to wilt.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring everything to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Toss the cooked fettuccine into the skillet, ensuring each strand is coated in the creamy sauce. Serve hot, garnished with more Parmesan if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream. You can also use chicken sausage or skip the meat entirely for a vegetarian option.
