Description

A refreshing and nutrient-packed smoothie combining spinach, banana, and almond milk for a quick breakfast or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the spinach, banana, almond milk, and peanut butter if you’re opting for it.
  2. Blend the mixture on high speed until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency.
  3. Taste the smoothie. If you like it sweeter, add honey or maple syrup and blend again briefly.
  4. If you enjoy a chilled smoothie, add ice cubes to the blender and blend again until well incorporated. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

For best taste, consume immediately. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake well before consuming.
