  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder in a bowl.
  3. Mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil in a separate large bowl until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture and beat until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes.
  7. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and coat in powdered sugar.
  8. Place the coated dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For a richer flavor, replace half of the vegetable oil with melted butter and use high-quality cocoa powder.
