Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into thick wedges.
- Toss the wedges with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings.
- Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For crispier fries, soak the cut potato wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before baking. Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet.
