Description

A quick and creamy blend of sweet strawberries, ripe banana, and silky coconut milk, perfect for a fruity tropical breakfast drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull fresh strawberries, or measure frozen strawberries straight from the freezer. Peel the banana and measure the coconut milk. If you like a sweeter drink, measure the honey or maple syrup.
  2. Place the strawberries, coconut milk, banana, and honey or maple syrup (if using) into a blender. Secure the lid.
  3. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and even. If your blender struggles, stop, scrape down the sides, and blend again. For a thicker texture, add a few ice cubes or use frozen strawberries.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness. Add ice and pulse to chill, or pour into glasses immediately. Garnish with a sliced strawberry or a sprinkle of shredded coconut if desired, then enjoy.

Notes

Best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. For a thicker smoothie, use frozen fruit.
