Description

A delightful blend of sweetness from strawberries, creaminess of feta, and aromatic thyme, making it a perfect appetizer or light meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to fit your tart pan.
  3. Transfer the pastry to the pan and trim the edges, leaving a little overhang.
  4. In a bowl, mix the sliced strawberries, crumbled feta, thyme, honey, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spoon the strawberry mixture evenly over the pastry.
  6. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Best served warm or at room temperature. Pair with a side salad or drizzle extra honey on top for a sweet touch.
