Description

A refreshing strawberry lemonade that’s easy to prepare and perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull the fresh strawberries.
  2. In a blender, puree the strawberries until smooth.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry puree with lemon juice, sugar, and water. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness or acidity if necessary. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and whole strawberries.

Notes

For a fizzy drink, replace half of the water with sparkling water.
