A refreshing iced tea with the sweet flavors of fresh strawberries and a hint of vanilla, perfect for hot summer days.

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 4 cups brewed black tea, cooled
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them into halves or quarters. Chill your pitcher and glasses if desired.
- In a large pitcher, add the sliced strawberries and 1/2 cup sugar. Muddle the berries until they release their juices.
- Pour the cooled brewed black tea into the pitcher with the muddled strawberries. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and adjust sweetness if needed. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Fill glasses with ice and strain the tea into glasses or pour with fruit for a rustic look. Garnish each glass with mint leaves and a strawberry slice. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a clearer tea, strain the mixture after chilling. Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
