Description

A warm, buttery sugar cookie flavor blended into a creamy milk tea, perfect for an afternoon treat or holiday cozy drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup brewed black tea
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • Cookie crumbs (for garnish)
  • Sugar cookies (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brew 1 cup of black tea and let it cool slightly.
  2. In a saucepan, heat 2 cups milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling. Stir in 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Combine the brewed tea with the warm milk mixture and stir well for about 15–30 seconds.
  4. Pour the milk tea into cups and top with cookie crumbs, placing a piece of sugar cookie on the rim or in the cup for garnish. Serve warm or chilled over ice.

Notes

For a vegan version, use oat or almond milk and a sugar substitute. Adjust sweetness and flavors to taste.
