Description

A quick, festive snack that combines sweet, creamy white chocolate with crunchy popcorn and colorful candies, perfect for sharing on Valentine’s Day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag of microwave popcorn
  • 1 cup of white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of heart-shaped sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup of red and pink M&M’s
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Pop the microwave popcorn according to package instructions and place it in a large bowl. Remove any unpopped kernels. Preheat a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth. Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to thin out the chocolate if needed. Stir until glossy and pourable.
  3. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the popcorn and toss to combine evenly. Work quickly so the chocolate coats the popcorn before it sets.
  4. Immediately add the heart-shaped sprinkles and M&M’s to the popcorn, mixing gently. Spread the popcorn mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and let it cool completely before serving so the chocolate hardens and the pieces stay separate.

Notes

For best results, cool the popcorn completely before storing to maintain its crispiness. Avoid refrigeration as moisture can make it soggy.
