A perfect blend of sweet and savory, this tender chicken is infused with a delightful honey garlic marinade, making it a quick and flavorful choice for any weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag, pour the marinade over them, seal the bag, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for more flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium heat. Remove chicken from marinade and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Brush reserved marinade on the chicken during the last few minutes of cooking for added flavor. Let rest for a few minutes before serving, garnished with chopped green onions.
