- 1 cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Mix the flour and baking powder together in a large bowl until combined.
- Add the buttermilk to the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently.
- Roll out the dough to about 1 inch thick, then cut into biscuits.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
For richer flavor, brush the tops of biscuits with melted butter before baking.
