Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Mix the flour and baking powder together in a large bowl until combined.
  3. Add the buttermilk to the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  5. Roll out the dough to about 1 inch thick, then cut into biscuits.
  6. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

For richer flavor, brush the tops of biscuits with melted butter before baking.
