- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 apple, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares. In a bowl, mix the apple slices, cheddar cheese, honey, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place a spoonful of the apple-cheddar mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a bundle and pinch the edges to seal. Brush each bundle with beaten egg.
- Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
Serve warm with honey or a dipping sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
