- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix the chicken broth, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning, then pour over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.
- Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Cook the pasta according to package directions, drain, and add to the crockpot.
- Combine well and let cook on low for an additional 10–15 minutes before serving, garnished with parsley.
Notes
For a cheesier topping, transfer to a baking dish and broil with mozzarella for a bubbly crust.
