Description

A delicious combination of creamy mac and cheese and savory chicken, all tied together with a honey garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add diced chicken, salt, and pepper, and cook until chicken is browned and cooked through.
  4. In a small bowl, mix honey and soy sauce. Pour over the chicken and stir to coat.
  5. Add cooked macaroni to the pan with the chicken.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

This dish can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of milk or cream if too thick.
