Description
A delightful dish that combines the sweetness of honey with the tangy zest of lime for a mouthwatering flavor experience.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Whisk together honey, lime juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag, ensuring the chicken is well coated, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with fresh cilantro on top.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. If you don’t have lime juice, lemon juice can work as a substitute.
