- 10g salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the bread flour and water together until no dry flour remains.
- Add the sourdough starter and salt, and mix until combined.
- Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rest for 12-16 hours at room temperature.
- After the resting period, turn the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into a round loaf.
- Let it rest for another 30-60 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
- Once preheated, carefully place the dough into the hot Dutch oven, cover with the lid, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
