Description

Delightful pastries with a creamy lemon filling wrapped in buttery crescent dough, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine softened cream cheese, lemon juice, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest in a bowl. Mix until smooth.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Place about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, forming a crescent shape and ensuring they are tightly rolled.
  5. Place the rolled dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to a week. Reheat in the oven to restore texture.
