- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup peppermint frosting
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with butter or nonstick spray.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and stir in the sugar until combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, stirring after each until blended. Mix in the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until just combined.
- Fold in 1 cup chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 20–25 minutes.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Spread the peppermint frosting evenly over the cooled brownies.
- Melt the remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips and drizzle them over the frosting in a decorative pattern.
- Cut into 16 squares and serve.

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
