Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk, lukewarm
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1/2 cup water, lukewarm
Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast in a large bowl.
- Gradually mix in the warmed buttermilk and water until a sticky dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rise at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking pan.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, divide it into equal portions, and shape them into rolls.
- Place the rolls in the prepared pan, cover, and let rise for about 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with butter or honey butter. Rolls can be stored at room temperature for 1-2 days or frozen for up to three months.
