Description

Delightful Oreo Cupcakes combine rich chocolate cake flavors with iconic Oreo cookies, topped with luscious whipped cream frosting.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Oreo cookies for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
  2. Mix together the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  3. Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies, then fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the batter. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack. Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Frost the cooled cupcakes with the whipped cream mixture and top each cupcake with an Oreo cookie for decoration.

Notes

Store cupcakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Unfrosted cupcakes can be frozen for up to three months.
