Description

A delightful homemade jam combining sweet and spicy peppers, perfect for elevating dishes or as a thoughtful gift.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely chopped peppers (mix of sweet and spicy)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 packet pectin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the chopped peppers, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and salt. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are mixed thoroughly.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Once boiling, add the pectin and continue to boil for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Pour the jam into sterilized jars while still hot, seal them, and allow to cool completely before storing in the refrigerator.

Notes

Store homemade Pepper Jam in sterilized jars in the refrigerator for up to 3 months. For longer storage, consider canning.
