Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 package (6 oz) strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, granulated sugar, and melted unsalted butter. Stir until evenly moistened and press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool completely.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in whipped topping and spread over the cooled pretzel crust.
  3. Arrange sliced strawberries over the cream cheese layer. Dissolve strawberry jello in boiling water and let cool slightly before pouring over the strawberries.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set. Slice into squares and serve cold.

Notes

Press the crust firmly and let it cool fully to prevent a runny cream layer. Use cold whipped topping and softened cream cheese for easy mixing.
