Description
A delightful mix of sweet, salty, and creamy layers featuring a crunchy pretzel crust, silky cream cheese layer, and juicy strawberry gelatin.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 package (6 oz) strawberry jello
- 2 cups boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, granulated sugar, and melted unsalted butter. Stir until evenly moistened and press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in whipped topping and spread over the cooled pretzel crust.
- Arrange sliced strawberries over the cream cheese layer. Dissolve strawberry jello in boiling water and let cool slightly before pouring over the strawberries.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set. Slice into squares and serve cold.
Notes
Press the crust firmly and let it cool fully to prevent a runny cream layer. Use cold whipped topping and softened cream cheese for easy mixing.
