Description
An irresistible dish that combines tender chicken breasts with a crunchy, cheesy coating, all drizzled with a rich and creamy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Beat the eggs in a shallow bowl. Combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
- Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, letting excess drip off. Coat with breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to stick.
- Heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the breaded chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream, add Italian seasoning, and stir to combine. Simmer until thickened, then remove from heat.
- Serve hot chicken breasts topped with creamy garlic sauce and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Notes
Serve with side of pasta, steamed vegetables, or a crisp salad. Pair with white wine for a lovely dinner experience.
